Disclaimer

Before we get too deep into the new version of The Health Blog, I thought it would be appropriate to add a much-needed legal disclaimer.

1. None of the writers for The Health Blog are doctors. We cannot diagnose, prevent, treat, or cure any illnesses you may have. (Even if we were doctors, you would still need a one-on-one appointment to get personalized advice.)

2. The information we provide on this site is for our own education and the education of others. It is not intended to diagnose, prevent, treat, or cure any disease.

3. The statements on this site have not been evaluated by the federal Food & Drug Administration (FDA). Again, what we say here is not intended to diagnose, prevent, treat, or cure any disease.

4. You should always consult a doctor before undertaking any diet or exercise program.

So long as you keep this stuff in mind, feel free to read and comment as much as you like. Thanks.

Curious. Found this website while searching for stuff on nutrition and eating healthy etc. I am wondering who you all are that is doing this? I really enjoy what I have read so far and wonder if you could do more. It is great stuff. And not too threatening or overwhelming. Thanks.
Oh, and by the way, I found organic grapes at Walmart the other day. Wow!

Hey Jill,

Thanks for stopping by and reading.

My name is Ryan Healy. I started all this about two years ago with my health blog that is still hosted with Typepad. See: http://ryanhealy.typepad.com/ryans_blog/

Last year, I began posting on this new blog that uses Wordpress. At that time, I invited a few other authors to join me. The two that post the most are Sarah Parker and Kelly Stuart of DietFacts.com.

Together, we create the content that is posted on The Health Blog.

I haven’t posted nearly as much as normal this summer, but I hope that will change as we enter the autumn season.

Ryan
